International Indian Treaty Council Gathering

July 2004

The Shundahai Network is honored to have provided camp logistics, communications, security capacity, and staffing for the thirty year anniversary gathering of the Internatioinal Indian Treaty Council near Fall River Mills, California.

Corbin Harney, Western Shoshone Elder, Spiritual Leader, and Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Shundahai Network, addressed gathering participants in person, on radio and via webcast. He also conducted Friday morning sunrise ceremony for those in attendance.

Shundahai Network conducts our activities within three main campaigns: Environmental Justice Now, Action for Nuclear Abolition, and Nuclear Free Great Basin. Shundahai Network support for Corbin Harney, and for this event was conducted within ShundahaI Network's Environmental Justice Now program area.

Floyd Red Crow Westerman

 

Floyd Red Crow drove from Los Angeles up to Fall River Mills to make a guest appearence at the Treaty Council. He sang 2 of his songs before talking to the people and autographing his CDs.
